The Organising Committee of the DATTA Qld State Conference 2025 invites you to participate as a trade exhibitor and/or sponsor. The conference will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC), from Thursday 19 to Friday 20 June 2025. Bump in for setting up will be from 6:00am on Thursday 19 June and exhibitor arrivals will be staggered. Over many years, Datta Qld have established long term relationships with service and product suppliers in the education and teaching sectors throughout Australia. Once again, DATTA Qld are extending an invitation to organisations to become sponsors of this important conference and promote your company and product to our audience. We expect 250-300 delegates, including classroom teachers, principals, lecturers, tertiary students, consultants, authors, illustrators and researchers to attend the conference. This event will provide important networking and sales opportunities, enabling your organisation to:

Sponsorship and exhibition arrangements will not be confirmed until payment is received.

- EFT – bank account details will be provided on your invoice. A remittance advice must be emailed to dattaqld@expertevents.com.au.
- MasterCard or Visa – please note sponsorship/ exhibition payments via credit card will incur an additional 2% merchant fee.
Your cancellation of participation at the conference
All cancellations must be advised in writing directly to Expert Events.
- Sponsors – If you provide notice of cancellation to Expert Events prior to 14 March 2025 a 50% cancellation fee will apply. On or after 14 March 2025, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.
- Exhibitors – If you provide notice of cancellation to Expert Events prior to 13 April 2025 a 50% cancellation fee will apply. On or after 13 April 2025, a 100% cancellation fee will apply.

Booth and site configuration
- Site availability is limited and will be distributed according to sponsorship level then on a first in first served basis and subject to availability.
- Each site includes 1 display table (1830mm x 760mm) with tablecloth, 2 chairs, light, at least one Velcro-friendly wall fascia board with organisation name, and 4amp power as standard. Please note tablecloths are provided.
- Various booth configurations and power supplies are available. Please read further details under the Supporting Sponsors section.
Safety requirements:
- All electrical equipment used at the conference must be certified for use in Australia.
- If you have high power needs, such as laser printing machines use of these machines at the conference must be obtained prior to the event to avoid electrical shortages.
- Leads and/or power boards brought into the conference venue MUST have a current Test and Tag certificate.
- Cables and leads etc that are on the floor must be secured in such a way as to not create a trip hazard.
- Machines such as laser cutters MUST have an effective and adequate filtering system/ extracting unit attached. It is not acceptable to vent unfiltered gases and fumes into the hall.
- Any equipment that creates a dust/wood shavings and/or a metal swarf issue in the display area, MUST have an adequate filtering system/extracting unit or containment process in place. It is not acceptable to vent unfiltered gases, fumes and dust etc into the hall.
- Please be mindful of Workplace Health and Safety issues to avoid hazards.
- NOTE: As a requirement from the BCEC for exhibitions, all exhibitors must complete the Permit Form upon confirmation of their sponsorship. Before being permitted to exhibit at the BCEC, all items covered in the BCEC Event Safety Guidelines must be followed. Please complete the form and return it to Expert Events as soon as possible.
Delegate details
Provision of delegate details is subject to privacy laws. Participants can choose not to be listed and opt out of providing contact details.
General
- The organisers reserve the right to change the venue, duration or floor plan if exceptional circumstances demand. In the event of change of venue and/or duration, the agreement to participate will remain in force so long as the exhibitor is informed in reasonable time before the event.
- Exhibitors must accept the decisions of the organising committee in relation to the scope of exhibition displays. Where an exhibitor wants to conduct a number of activities within the exhibition space, the organising committee will have the right to limit the scope of these activities in the interest of providing a balanced presence from the industry.
- This year’s exhibitor bump in (for those using the BCEC loading dock rather than the freight forwarder) will have arrivals staggered between 6:00am – 7:30am for those requesting early access. Further information will be provided with the exhibitor manual.

Trade Display Passport
NOTE: All exhibitors will be listed on the conference app trade display quiz for the delegates to visit your trade display. We ask that you provide a question, the answer and three incorrect answers to the conference organiser for inclusion in the trade display quiz. The question must be about your organisation/product/service, and should not be an easy one to guess, so that the delegates must visit your display to get the answer. The prizes for the draws will be provided by DATTA Qld.
Your organisation is also welcomed to run its own prize draw from your trade display. However, promotion of your own prize draw is your responsibility and will not be announced or promoted by the organiser or organising committee before, during or after the conference.
