curriculum activity risk assessment

The CARA team manage general advice for conducting risk assessments of curriculum activities and maintain the CARA guidelines. These guidelines have been reviewed and will be published during Term 4, 2021, (also attending to any broken links etc).

For advice about safety systems and other specific advice in the local school context, please contact your regional health and safety consultant. They can be found on the department’s Organisational Safety and Wellbeing webpage (under the Health and Safety tab).

The Central Health and Safety Consultants manage the Hazards and risks associated with ITD (see Industrial technology and design tab) and support schools by providing the ITD guidelines and plant/equipment resources such as P&ERAs and SOPs.
